Protecting your business email

Uncategorized | Tuesday August 16 2011 9:38 pm | Comments (0)

How often have you hit ‘send’ on an email and only then realised that it has been sent to the wrong person? Or maybe you have been the recipient of a random email from someone that you might not have known, which divulges confidential information.

Not only embarrassing, but potentially very harmful if you are the person sending confidential emails and they end up in the wrong inbox or being intercepted in some devious way on their way through the internet.

That is where email encryption for Outlook comes in very useful and a simple add on is now available, which also gets over the problem that you don’t know whether your recipient is using a PC, Mac or even their telephone to read what you are sending.

An alternative to the iPad

Uncategorized | Monday March 21 2011 11:27 pm | Comments (0)

The iPad is, without doubt, the most popular device in its market. Running IOS Apps, with the easy to use Apple interface, it is recognisable and a leader in the field. Plenty of people have them and most people know what they are and probably what they do.

Talk about a tablet PC and you probably think of an iPad. Quite ironic really, given that the Apple Mac and the PC are on opposite sides of the home computing fence!

But an iPad is not the only alternative on the market. There are many others, some with a lot less features and some with just as many, and many of these alternatives are available for a lot smaller outlay and a lot smaller monthly network charge if you are going 3G.

But, what is the point of a Tablet PC? Why use one instead of a netbook? Well they can come with inbuilt 3G access – so it is like having your Netbook permanently attached to the mobile broadband dongle. At the same time though they are a lot more compact and also have many features that other computers do not have, such as accelerometers that detect the screen’s orientation and allow the display to be rotated accordingly.

Free Ipad 2!

Deals,iPad | Friday March 4 2011 7:19 pm | Comments (0)

Buy Mobile Phones are offering a FREE iPad 2 on certain tariffs!

Better still, they are not all deals starting out with huge payments. I easily found a free Android smartphone with unlimited internet, 900 minutes and 500 texts per month for just £30.64 per month that had a free iPad.

Have a look at the offers before they change their mind!
